Although we were extremely grateful for the increase every year… God was not satisfied and neither were we!

In January 2020 God expanded our vision when He challenged us to reach the estimated 231,000 women incarcerated in the United States. To accomplish this, He instructed us to give 100,000 mini books free of charge to prison chaplains for distribution to female inmates in 130 facilities located in the following regions: West, Midwest, Northeast and South. In spite of COVID-19, we are still determined to fulfill this mandate…

We believe a minimum of 100,000 souls will be saved through the updated mini book. And since inmates typically share a book with at least 10 people before it finally falls apart, we believe the reach could be greater.

Once an inmate responds by mailing in the perforated post card (attached to the back cover of the new mini book), they receive an Introduction to The Freedom Project Correspondence Course plus a Scholarship and an invitation to enroll. Once enrolled, our data shows that up to 85% will refer other inmates to the course – which means we will reach the remaining 131,000 female inmates for Christ through the inmates’ evangelistic efforts!
