How We Grew

Inmates who enroll in our correspondence course are encouraged to refer other inmates to the program. As an example, our first graduate personally referred 62 inmates. The exponential growth we’ve experienced has been primarily due to inmate referrals. Up to 85% of all referred inmates enroll in our course “and” then start referring others. Not only are we seeing souls saved through this powerful (mini book) evangelistic tool – every new inmate who enrolls is being trained to be an evangelist!

We long to see even more inmates experience salvation, freedom and hope. We are already seeing:

  1. Salvations — On average 8 out of 10 inmates accept Christ for the first time.
  2. Lives radically changed — Significant changes take place through our correspondence course lessons.
  3. Relationships repaired and restored — e.g., Marriages, children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, etc.
  4. Generational cycles broken — Poverty, abuse, neglect, abandonment, anger, unforgiveness, etc.
  5. Improved Judicial Hearings — Character Letters & Certificates of Completion are provided.
  6. Recidivism dramatically reduced — According to our records, only 3 inmates (who completed a minimum of 8 correspondence course lessons) have returned to prison after being released, since 2018.

This is significant since…

“About 1/4 of women released from prison fail within 6 months (i.e., have an arrest for a new crime), 1/3 fail within a year, and 2/3 fail (68.1%) five years out from release.” (2016) Bureau of Justice Statistics
